What does a photoshoot cost?
2 look package including:

3 look package including:

+ proof sheets – Total $750. (1 look is a beauty look or body look)
4 look package including:

What clothes do I wear? Styling - Clothing?
Professional styling which means the supply of clothes for you on the day is the difference between a good portfolio and a great one.
Yatzek works with industry stylists to supply haute couture garments for you on the day.

Where are the shoots held? - Locations
Yatzek shoots all portfolio work from our home studio in Balwyn North. We are situated about 10 minutes along the Eastern
Freeway from Hoddle Street - Doncaster Road exit. We are just off Doncaster Road. Time constraints mean locations are kept to a short
distance from the studio.
Special requests such as the beach, cafes or bars or other locations may incur a small extra charge depending on the travel time taken @ $30
per hour.

How many shots do you get? - Frames per look
Yatzek is generous with the amount of frames he shoots per look, rarely shooting less than 100 frames and often shooting well over 200. These are then heavily edited so that all blinks and bad expressions are eliminated on the proofs.
How do I choose my shots? - Proofsheets
We aim to make proofs available approximately 10 working days after the shoot. They are A4 size and consist of a minimum
of 12 thumbnail images per look. (sometimes more, depending on the experience level of the model).

How much are prints?
How much are prints?
9x12" prints are $35 each. Yatzek personally prepares them for the lab and they are printed on high quality photographic paper. Prints must be paid for at the time of ordering and are also usually ready approximately 10 working days after the order date.
Do you do retouching?
Yes! Every final print is fully photoshopped by Yatzek to his high standards. All skin retouching is included in the print price. Special high end retouching requests may incur an extra fee; between $10 to $20, depending on the complexity of the job.

Who owns the copyright of the images?
According to Australian copyright law, the photographer owns all rights to his or her images regardless of who has
commissioned the shoot. Yatzek studios keeps all images on file on cd so that further orders can be made after the initial order although
there is a retrieval fee of $20 for this service and please note that although all care is taken we cannot guarantee the efficacy of our
storage cd's beyond a 2 month period after the shoot.

Can I have a CD?
We do not release all our files electronically; but we do provide talent with web sized jpgs for self promotion via the
internet. The files we release for this purpose are only those files that have already been purchased as prints and are therefore finished
work, having been colour managed and retouched where necessary prior to printing. A CD of these 72dpi, 15cm high files for web use costs
$20. These are not of an adequate resolution for printing.

Can you email me proofs or images?
Yes! In fact this is now our preferred method of getting your proofs to you.
What if I'm in a hurry?
Please make note of the turnaround times mentioned above so that you plan accordingly.
Our turn around time is often far faster than we promise however there are also times when a rush job might not be possible at all depending
on our bookings. Any job requiring special urgency will be subject to a 20% loading, should we able to fit in.

How do I book?
We take a $150 non refundable deposit at the time of booking so that we can book ourselves out with our agencies who will
start saying no to other work on that day and also so we can begin to source and borrow clothing once the shoot has been confirmed. It is
only in this way that we have any compensation for lost income from other work should there be a last minute cancellation.
The balance of your shoot fee is due on the day.

How do I order prints and collect them?
Payment for prints is due at the time of ordering. Please allow approximately 10 working days for prints to be finished.
If it is not convenient to collect your prints from our home studio address, you may arrange to have your prints posted via
registered mail for an extra $10.

How long do prints take?
We ask that where possible all print orders are made within a 2 month period of the shoot date; during which period we will maintain backup files and/or undertake to reshoot should data be lost. After this time we will burn files to archive cds where necessary
to make room on hard drives, and no guarantee can be made about back up files should these cd's fail.
After this 2 month period an archive retrieval fee of $20 will be charged to locate files.

How long does the shoot take?
Photoshoots are notoriously difficult to predict in terms of how long they will take. Yatzek is rare amongst photographers
in that he will keep shooting until his standard has been reached and he does not time things by the clock. This is especially valuable when
the model is not particularly confident, expert or experienced.
Shoot finishing times can vary more than 2 hours either way of any estimate. In a case where the model is to be collected,
we strongly prefer to call an hour before the finish time rather than have to rush or have the distraction of knowing someone is being kept
waiting outside.

What about weekends?
Sorry! We do not work on weekends.
Can I have company on the shoot?
Long experience has taught us that friends & family on the shoot does not work well and can adversely affect the results of the shoot. We respectfully request that parents drop models off and wait until telephoned to come and collect them. Boyfriends, friends and siblings are similarly requested to remain away for the duration of the shoot.
The exception to this rule however is where the model is under 18 years of age. In this case we request that a parent or guardian remain with us on the shoot.

What if someone wants to use my image for commercial usage?
Yatzek Studios reserves copyright of all images including those on proof sheets. Proof sheets may not be scanned for
uploading/ viewing on the web. This constitutes a breach of copyright. Once prints have been ordered we grant usage rights to the model to
use those finished images only, for self promotion purposes only. Any further commercial usage rights will only be granted after a commercial fee has been negotiated and paid.
